Program

Cô VN's services consist of three components: (i) funding, (ii) training and (iii) mentoring. Cô VN selects recipients who demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, capability and propensity to repay their loans, who have difficulty obtaining access to capital. Recipients will receive training, mentoring, and seed funding to start or expand their businesses. In turn, the recipients trained by Cô VN are encouraged to share their success with others, thereby perpetuating the Cô VN model.

A distinguishing feature of the Cô VN's program and other successful microfinance programs is that the available funds are self-sustaining. Because the capital source is made in the form of a loan, the repaid amounts will be used to finance the businesses of other Recipients. Thus, donations to Cô VN's will reach many more people per dollar than a typical charitable relief project.
